Sowmiya Chocka Narayanan

Sowmiya is the co-founder and CTO of Lily, passionate about the intersection of emotional intelligence and artificial intelligence. At Lily, she has built the core emotion AI based engines that decode a woman’s emotional and perceptive needs to accentuate and de-emphasize certain parts of the body and use machine learning to match emotions, preferences, and perceptions about her body to clothes; in real time from her favorite online and offline stores. Previously, Sowmiya has built top grossing mobile games in the app store at Pocket Gems, worked at different levels of the tech stack in areas like display ads, collaboration, mdm at Yahoo and Box. She holds a Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UT Austin and Bachelors in IT from PSG College of Technology(India).
